At Saint Benedict School, we’re proud to offer students the opportunity to benefit from a unique educational experience—one that prepares them socially, academically, and spiritually for the next steps in their lives.

Compared to their peers, Catholic school students, including those at Saint Benedict School, are prepared for life with a solid moral foundation that is nurtured through daily lessons and extracurricular activities that enrich their faith.

A faith-based PreK-8 school, Saint Benedict School is focused on preparing its students for high school, college, career, and life. Here are a few opinions from parents about how Saint Benedict School is preparing their students for the next steps in their lives . . .

“Saint Benedict helps children become stronger students and better people.”

“Saint Benedict helped my children develop tolerance to diversity and adversity, respect for each other and faculty, and more confidence in themselves.”

“My children have learned to get along with everyone – that’s valuable when you are merging into a larger group. They are academically prepared because we have good teachers and a good curriculum. Saint Benedict students also have a good foundation in religion and they stay more involved in the church.”

“The education is outstanding and the student-to-teacher ratio is great. I send my child to Catholic school because they attend to the whole kids – not just the school part.”

We are pleased to introduce Mrs. Clare Eckenrode, parent of two Saint Benedict graduates and long-time substitute teacher, as our newest full-time faculty member.

Though she now teaches fourth grade, Clare taught as a substitute teacher prior to having her two children, Taylor (now 16) and Brett (now 14). In the past few years, she took up substitute teaching again, and this year, we are happy to welcome her back full-time.

“I’ve been part of the Saint Benedict family for so long as both a parent and substitute—it feels natural to step back in.” As a substitute, Clare has taught in many schools, but it’s at Saint Benedict where she feels at home.
